Leila graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She comes equipped with nearly 12 years of experience treating a multitude of orthopedic, neurological and pediatric conditions and injuries in both a clinical and hospital setting.
Since graduation, Leila has continued to build on her education by pursuing post graduate courses to expand on her scope of knowledge. Some of these courses include mechanical diagnosis and therapy training ( levels A,B & C), the study of human movement (Bobath concept) and Acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. More specifically for the kiddos she works with, she has taken courses to help with bedwetting issues, dynamic core training, rhythmic movement therapy, reflex integration treatment, sports specific training and rehab, taping and more.
With 4 kids of her own, she has a genuine love of children and has always dreamed of working with them in order to help them lead a more functional and positive life. Her other interests include reading, attending her kids sporting events and exploring the real estate market.
