Gabrielle is in her fourth year of completing her Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology at Carleton University. To gain more knowledge and hands-on experience, she added a year to her program and joined Carleton’s cooperative education program. Gabrielle will be working at On the Ball for the next year as a Client Experience Coordinator and Rehab Assistant. In her studies, she has completed courses on child development, women’s psychology, and social and personality psychology.

Gabrielle is pursuing a degree in psychology because she is passionate about close relationships, and wants to be a family and couples therapist. She believes it is important to learn from multiple disciplines and consider all aspects of a person’s life, which is why she is completing her cooperative education placement at On the Ball. Here, she will deepen her knowledge of family dynamics by exploring the unique experiences of every child, couple, and family. Her goal is to develop a more inclusive and empathetic therapeutic approach for when she begins her career post-graduation.
