About
I just finished my third year as an undergraduate psychology student at Carleton University. I’m in Carleton’s co-op program so I will be with On the Ball for the next year working in reception and as a float. The co-op program allows students to add a year to their program where they will be joining the workforce full-time to gain real-world experience. At school, I’ve taken some courses on child development, women’s psychology, and social and personality psychology. I love what I’m studying at Carleton, but it is more technical so I am eager to get some hands-on experience! I’m pursuing a degree in psychology because I want to be a couples counsellor.
At On the Ball, I’m hoping to get a deeper understanding of what it’s like working in a multidisciplinary clinic. As well, I’m looking to learn how to schedule multiple patients and what a session is like from a therapist’s perspective. I believe it’s important to draw knowledge from different disciplines so I’m excited to learn about physio and occupational therapy. I am passionate about helping people and am always looking for a chance to learn new things.
Animals have always had a fond place in my heart and hanging out with my cats is my favorite way to unwind after a busy day.
