Our community is an important part of what makes On the Ball so special. Each one of our community partners shares a holistic approach and passion for helping children and families. It is partnerships like these that truly make a difference and help kids to flourish.
Located in the same space as our Orleans clinic, offering: Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology & Holistic Nutrition Therapy. ABC Pediatric Therapies is a warm, inviting, and bilingual multidisciplinary therapy clinic located at Jeanne D'arc & St-Joseph Blvd and easily accessible from surrounding areas.
Aspire Academy is an innovative private school for exceptional learners. With a growth-based mindset and a focus on teaching the whole child, they are committed to providing each student with a successful educational experience. Aspire offers a range of ABA-based school programs for preschool to grade 8 students. Situated on 12+ wooded acres just outside of Kanata their grounds include a play structure, sand area, hop-scotch, a track field, a soccer pitch, basketball nets, walking paths and more. They also have a gym space and a music hall. On the Ball has been collaborating with Aspire since its early beginnings in 2019 and offers occupational therapy and physiotherapy services at the school.
Ausome Ottawa is a registered charity that enriches the lives of children with autism and their families through sport and recreation. Since 2017, our therapists have been actively involved by leading the FUNdamental and Sensory Programs in partnership with Algonquin College. We have also sponsored their Trott or Treat event and created a sensory calming station for all to enjoy.
Centrepointe Professional Services (CPS) is a well-established group of health professionals offering a wide range of services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. CPS includes a team of Psychologists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Psychotherapists, and Educational Consultants.
Evolve Movement is an educational platform that aims to empower and support parents through the stages of parenting a child with a neurodiversity or high needs, while creating a community for parents to connect with other like-minded families. The Evolve team consists of integrative, conscious, and holistic professionals who share a passion and mission to awaken others to a new vision for serving and supporting parents and children for the whole family to thrive.
Gemme Moi is an Ottawa-based company that has a clear mission: to empower and inspire children through positive affirmations. Founded by a dedicated mother who developed a collection of French positive affirmations for her daughter and other children in the community. Gemme Moi's products aim to encourage self-confidence and a positive dialogue among young people. Their goal is to enhance the daily lives of children and promote a brighter future for all.
We are pleased to offer your child one-on-one Aqua Therapy with Hippo in the Bathtub. The Aqua Therapy is done in their custom indoor pool facilities with a 48 foot salt water pool kept at a warm temperature of 87 – 90F (30 – 32C). There are never more than two lessons being taught in the pool simultaneously, which makes this pool the perfect place for learning. There is comfortable seating areas for parents, free WiFi, snack canteen, and private change rooms. May be covered by OAP funding.
Their mission is providing access to adapted music education programs for the special needs community. Lotus offers music lessons out of our Orleans location.

They've dedicated themselves to making motherhood a little more manageable – and a lot more fun – through weekly classes, baby-friendly events and expert advice on topics that matter.
Established in 1944, Mothercraft Ottawa is a charitable, non-profit organization that provides programs and services for parents with infants and young children. For seven decades, Mothercraft Ottawa has been helping Ottawa families through our many child and family service programs, which include comprehensive prenatal classes, perinatal support, parenting classes, workshops and drop-in play groups.
Ottawa Centre for Attachment & Trauma Therapy exists to offer HOPE to families by equipping them for healthy and loving relationships.
Wynbrook Equestrian Centre is Ottawa’s finest horse boarding facility featuring a renowned riding school and competitive show team. They also offer therapeutic riding lessons for those with special needs. On The Ball has partnered with Wynbrook to help achieve therapeutic goals in a more natural and functional setting.
