About
Jezlyn first became aware of occupational therapy when her younger sister began attending occupational therapy sessions. She was intrigued to see how games and play activities could promote functional growth while still being fun and meaningful.
Jezlyn has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, and fine and gross motor challenges. She has also worked with parents one-on-one to better understand their family’s needs.
Having grown up with a sibling with special needs, Jezlyn has gained a deep understanding of both the challenges and rewards of being part of a family with a child with special needs. She understands the importance of a family-centered approach and open communication between all members of the care team. Above all else, Jezlyn believes that every child should feel safe and have fun during occupational therapy sessions and will work collaboratively with each family to ensure an individualized experience.

I used to be part of a violin group that toured around the world! I still play the violin now, but just for fun.
