Elspeth Jordan

Elspeth Jordan

Rehab Assistant

Elspeth is excited to be part of the On the Ball team! Before her career in healthcare, she spent 15 fulfilling years working in the heritage sector. Her love of helping people and building relationships led her to retrain as an Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant.

During her training at Algonquin College, Elspeth was fortunate to complete a pediatrics placement at On the Ball and a placement at the Rehabilitation Center, where she worked with people of all ages.

She loves working with children. She has been a Girl Guide leader for over 20 years, and worked as a camp counselor and respite support worker for children and adults with disabilities. She enjoys using silly songs and imaginative play to build rapport with clients. She is looking forward to continuing to grow her expertise as a rehabilitation assistant.

When she is not working with children, Elspeth enjoys puzzles, audiobooks, running, and dragon boating. She is especially proud to be a member of her dragon boat team, which has a strong commitment to community service, and wins awards for their spirit and fundraising efforts for the Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation.

Elspeth continuously brings knowledge, empathy, and sense of fun to her clients at On the Ball.
